DESCRIPTION OF PRACTICE

I am a practicing licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in Forensic Psychology. I provide Clinical and Forensic Psychological services for adults and adolescents, which includes forensic psychological evaluations for Personal Injury cases, Medical Malpractice Cases, and Wrongful Death Cases, Evaluations for Competency to Stand Trial, Diminished Capacity, Mental State at the Time of the Offense, Mitigation, and attorney consultation.

EXPERIENCE
​
I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University with a specialization in Forensic Psychology. I completed my Doctoral Internship at Western State Hospital and a Forensic Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship from University of Washington and the Office of Forensic Mental Health Services (OFHMS). Throughout my training I worked in a variety of clinical and forensic settings, including state hospitals, jails, adult and juvenile probation departments, private practice, and community clinics. Following my training I worked as a Forensic Evaluator with the Office of Forensic Mental Health Services conducting Evaluations for Competency to Stand Trial, Diminished Capacity, Mental State at the Time of the Offense, and Forensic Risk Assessments.
